Hi all,

We've uploaded a new tar.gz for the Linux version that fixes the black flickering squares and other visual glitches. Please download the new tar.gz ( gog_dreamfall_chapters_1.1.0.2.tar.gz ) at your earliest convenience in order to get the best experience of the game :)

Edit: There is a backslash in the savegame path: $HOME/.config/RedThreadGames\DreamfallChapters
And the creation of the $HOME/.config/RedThreadGames\DreamfallChapters/Social.data fails due to the backslash (well, I really don't care about the social media integration).

UPDATE: The problem does not occur with the Nouveau driver and the game is playable. I did not try the closed source drivers.

Thanks for the patch, but I still see huge black areas (moving the camera make them appear and disappear). Since I'm on Arch Linux, I'm running directly the file "game/Dreamfall Chapters" because start.sh fails. Is there some magic happening in the scripts specific to Ubuntu?
