Hi.

Despite having bought the game some time ago, I've not yet downloaded Dreamfall Chapters.
When I do, are all the 64-bit patches also required ??
I have Windows 7 [64-bit.]

Thanks.
I think the main game download is already the latest version (64-bit 5.3.1), so you don't need to apply any patches.

I've been also wondering: what is the earliest game version you can patch with the current patch (5.3.1)? I doubt you can patch the version 1.0 with it... And do you need to install the patches 5.2.0 and 5.3.0 before 5.3.1?

The download page should be more informative in my opinion.

You're right, it's a total mess.

But what you said is right of course. Bean1eMad doesn't need to patch anything if he or she downloads the latest installer.

As to previous versions, you have to take a look at your downloaded files. If the files say 5.2.0, you apply 5.3.0 first and then 5.3.1. If the files say 5.3.0, you only apply 5.3.1.
Thank you both very much !! :-)

agreed, not only for this game.
"gog X" "patch X.X.X" "installer X.XX.X.XX" "original game version X.X.X"
could all be the same version... or not. and sometimes they mix these designations. plus gog "forgets" sometimes the update notification so u need to be sherlock holmes to figure which version is installed and is there really an update or not. :/

If it's installed and you don't have the installer files any more, you're fucked. The installer files however are painstakingly labelled clearly. That's the only way to make sense of this mess that I know of though. :|
