I'm on Chapter 4 of TLJ right now, and completely stuck. I've talked to everyone and exhausted every conversation possibility, and read every book, but I can't advance. I'm not getting any options about mermen or flying people like some guides say I should, so I'm utterly confused as to what I need to do. Any help?
I think you have to go back and speak to Brian Westhouse and then go talk to the old sailor who is sitting at the docks on the opposite side of the ship after you've read the books the first time.

Yeah, I tried that. Westhouse's dialogue is just a loop of "I want to ask you some questions -> Sure -> I have no more questions -> Goodbye" and the sailor doesn't have any options besides a story that April cuts off.
Did you go to the temple and speak to Tobias? He's standing further down the corridor than usual IIRC.
I don't remember (despite doing this earlier today), but you may have to talk to Nebevay as well?

EDIT: Also, when talking to... er, library dude, did you tell him you wanted information about something but weren't quite sure what to ask for (or something to that effect)? Because that's where you request the Flying People and Mermen stuff.

Also also, is Crow voiced by the same guy as Flipper? They sound really similar to me.
