I can't seem to get past the screen after Kian leaves the tavern in chapter 12. His character model loads, and the game is running, but he is frozen in place. I can't seem to find anyone else with this issue. I have verified my download and files several times. I am up to date with the patches. Any ideas? I've had the game for a week now, and I can't progress :( .

In the past, some problems have been found related to not enough memory. Maybe if you deactivate all the stuff running in the background, you'll get through? But that is an extreme shot in the dark right now.

I have the same exact problem... I am a Mac user. Are you a Mac user as well ri-oh?

I am guessing this is a tech problem for Mac versions. I have the latest version of the game (downloaded today). And no, I don't have any other applications open when I am trying to play the game. The beginning of book 5 plays with no problem, but the game crashes when Kian exits the inn.

^ Thank god I'm not alone. I am actually a PC user. This is very weird. I wonder why it affects us, but not many others? I've used the in game Bug Report twice now. Hopefully Red Thread are seeing this?

I just downloaded the updated version, and my game is still crashing at the exact same spot (illustrated on ri-oh youtube link.) Thanks for forwarding that information to the Red Thread team.

I am still not able to finish the game because of the same bug in chapter 12 when Kian exits the Rooster and Kitten (screen freezes although the music keeps playing, and the game crashes.) I've posted something about this problem in the Red Thread Games forums, but the moderators can't seem to find what is wrong with my game, and only one other person has reported the same problem. ri_oh: were you able to get past that point and finish the game?
