Joseph1957: Below is a quote from Red Thread Games; I wonder what the changes are and why have they decided to this now?

"REDUX won't just contain the fifth and final episode of Dreamfall Chapters — we've also gone back and reworked parts of Book One, including the Storytime opening".
Some new screenshots have emerged also, showing some form of a graveyard in the dream sequences. Here's hoping it's another puzzle ...

Need a teaser trailer ... and a RELEASE DATE? :)

The last scene is interesting, it looks as though all this time Zoe has been used as a lab experiment by her mother and father and later they have come to regret what they have both done to her. Zoe must have been so outraged when she learned the truth about her evil parents and this made Zoe pull out all her hair in frustration.

I have... slightly differing theories. :)
just got this game, looking forward to it. Should i wait until the release of 5 and then play the whole shebang, or will it not matter either way? Haven''t played/downloaded it yet.

I would wait as they have said that they made changes to episode 1 with this final episode.

Jim's right. However, the savegames will very likely remain intact. So if you're not afraid to download twice, you could play the first chapter in its present state and later revisit the game when the chapter is finished. That way you can compare and contrast two different beginnings. :)

Then again, that's just what I would do. And I still miss that very first installer back in October 2014, the one that let you slip between the programmer cracks in Propast city and take a stroll directly over the river. :) :)
Spoiler alert - if it was not spoiled enough by the team already...

I was hoping to see some reviews on the last story of DFC: "Redux". Either everyone has been so overwhelmed and is speechless or thoroughly disappointed. Personally, I was disappointed and would say that book five was yet another book that was completely rushed through to try and answer every hanging question we have all been waiting for over the years. Tthere are still questions un-answered to my satisfaction. The team spent so long in making book five: “Redux”, that they could have made a much better ending; even at the end when we saw Kian as the Bloodless King, there were no speeches from him...

Will book five be available to owners of previous episodes or is sold separately?

I, too, want to know this. I can't even find it, and I can't see it as an update to my first four episodes.

You Have to re-download the whole game again and Book 5 will be there.

Book five is available now for download, it completes the package of the previous four books (no point selling it separately).
