It's been quite awhile and I decided to finally finish Dreamfall Chapters and recover the disk space. I was nearly finished with Book 4 but had not yet installed the Book 5 code. So I installed the latest code "on top" of my already installed previous version. I finish Book 4 and after the final cutscene I'm returned to the start menu. I don't recall if that is supposed to happen but at the least I expected to find "Start Book 5" listed but it isn't. Nor do I see a Continue option either.

The version number that appears in the Settings panel is 5.3.1.1.

What am I missing here?

*Sigh*
I decided to completely remove the game and reinstall. Even though I took the precaution to backup the current save game files and folder I then completely deleted them by mistake. One of those times, you know, when the click is faster than the brain. An OOPS moment. Oh well.

So now I get to play through the first four books again to get to the point I was at before. Hopefully Book 5 will be there.

Mmmm. I think I'll play with Kidbot this time too, rather than Shitbot. A little variety.
