Hello all. I'm just finally getting to Dreamfall Chapters with my backlog, so I first did a search. Nothing

I'm getting a black screen after the short intro about two worlds etc. What I'm left with is just a black screen and the in-game cursor. It just sits there.

Game is most current version, and I'm running a 3770k, GTX 980, 16GB RAM, and the most current Nvidia drivers on W8.1

Has anyone encountered this with a solution?

Never mind. I assumed the patch thread was people talking about the patch like "yay", etc. Now that I looked at it it appears the patch is at fault. Removed patch and it works.

Thanks, I'll try uninstalling the patch as well.
