The Crow is almost as bad as Jar Jar Bings from Star Wars. I don't know why all american "comical" sidekicks must be so loud and annoying, I prefer dry British humor much more. Oh well, and the fluffiness of the forest and the "Banda" people, it's just too much. The game started promising, though.

Game was developed by a Norwegian company, not and American one--so you can absolutely dislike Crow, but the fault, in this case at least, isn't that he was designed by an American company.

Crow may be more appealing if you've played "The Longest Journey."

I think he is playing The Longest Journey, because Banda people and their forest is in The Longest Journey and not in Dreamfall.

And for the record I actually liked the Crow.

It's been so long since I played either that I couldn't remember which species were which game (other than the main characters).

And I like Crow, too. :) I think it took me a bit to warm up to him, but I ended up finding him pretty wonderful.
