Hello,
I'm just having a couple of issues with TLJ (GOG edition). I'm on Win 7 64bit, GeForce graphics card (GTS 450), 270.61 drivers (Because of The Settlers 7). I installed it outside of Program Files into a "Games" directory that I just created, as I've heard that it can reduce problems with tweaking games, which is what I wanted to do.
I had installed the DVD version of TLJ from the Dreamfall Collector's Edition previously, but after it gave me a CD error I uninstalled it. I had a couple of issues with that, too.
1. When I run the game, it always comes up with the UAC window, even if I run it as an administrator, give all accounts full access etc.
2. I had a profile created to try to get AA to work, and I deleted it as the profile did nothing. Whenever I exit the game, it seems to do something funny to the text on my screen, making it a little thinner I suppose.
3. I also had my drivers set to scale the image, etc. so that I didn't end up with a small image looking absolutely vile on my 1600x900 screen. I decided to do away with that, but now TLJ seems to run it that mode regardless of my driver settings.
4. I looked at the .ini file in AppData, and it looks very sparse compared to the one in the game directory. Is that supposed to happen?
I'll try updating my graphics drivers, but I'm not sure what it'll do. I did try running it in compatibility mode (Win XP SP3), but that did nothing too.
