On my second game start and used to flight controls now, but still very clueless when it comes to the game mechanics. I just got my first mission, where I have to rescue an infected alien species by applying a cure.

Look at the screenshot I added. I tried it approximately 7 times, every time quitting with alt+F4 respectively just leaving to the main menu. I thought I was missing some controls to apply the medicine during fly by, just when I found out on my 8th try, that you can actually land on that mountain peak I marked red. And you have to... took me another ten tries to land there properly without almost entirely destroying my lander.

No matter if this is on purpose, or it is due to some procedurally generated planet surface, it's not so good design...

Well now after 5 hours and a game seed, that was said to be userfriendly, I am good to go. (The German magazine Gamestar apparently managed to provide a friendly universe with the game seed GAMESTAR)
