Adding an easy mode was not the correct response to criticism. People aren't hating the lander segments because of how much damage they take from crashing, they hate the landing segments because the fiddly mouse controls are CAUSING them to crash all the time!

I'd say the controls are the #2 issue driving negative reviews after the price and it's such an easy fix: relative keyboard controls.

Add the ability to steer and thrust using the arrow keys and WASD and you'll stop getting so much negative press from players who don't have controllers.
