The Long Dark Linux DL says 1.98 but installs 1.95

Yeah, I encountered that as well and the same thing happens for the MacOS installer.

Did you find a workaround? Were you able to get the correct install?? if so please tell me how.

I tried to leave a message for GOG support but when I clicked the support tab/button, the website logged me off and was unable to log onto the support site.

If you can get onto the support site and leave them a message ... maybe GOG will correct the issue.

The DL page says 1.98, the change log says 1.97 but the date they have for 1.97 is really the date for 1.94 and of course the actual DL is 1.95. So eveything is fubarred.

I just went back to v1.97, which I kept installers for locally.

After an unnecessarily lengthy discussion with that annoying chat bot I think it accepted my report -- we will see. I also reported the issue to Hinterland, as I expect the issue is more likely with them than with GOG, but it could of course be either.

Yeah, I also keep older version downloads and went back to 1.97 but doesn't help us play Blackrock.

As of 17:32 US EST, the 1.98 7.7 DL (versus the 7.4 G older DL) does install the correct version. It displays 1.98 on the load screen and in game I have exited PV Long Curve into Southern Keepers Pass.
