Hinterland just released a new trailer for the soon to be released 1.0 launch of The Long Dark aka Story mode! :D
This is going to be great! :D

It took 3-4 years since the Kickstarter / public announcement of the game + all the time before this launch (1-2 years).
and now it's finally here. Amazing work.

No idea if it is released here at the same time
Ooh, handy timer :D

Will have to hope that gog have their installers ready this time, or we'll be waiting as is often the case :/

Yerp, guess we're going to have to wait for gog to make one of many installers before we see sod all.
They make their own job harder, what with galaxy version, standalone version & now the ridiculous standalone with galaxy too ;)

Guess I'll go play something else & wait a few days until it appears here :/
Hinterland has stated that all platforms would release at the same time. Not that's it's a big problem, but it feels like they forget to communicate with the GOG community all the time. It's a bit annoying if you'd ask me.
When the crowdfunding for the game was finished they already promised a DRM free version for anyone interested. Would make sense to keep in touch with the community around that DRM version right? :)

For anyone else wondering about the release date on GOG, I've asked them about it on their official forums here: http://www.hinterlandforums.com/forums/topic/16125-8am-pst-where-is-story-mode/

Yeah, it looks like GOG is diminishing every day, both in eyes of developers and gamers.

I'm very excited about this game. Have it on Steam but don't want to start playing it until I see few patches (I'll give it a month's wait at most probably) since I'm not one of those I MUST PLAY THIS NOW CAN'T WAIT BLABLASDFLSDGHGFG! people and it's always better to wait a little then to play something buggy.

Good things comes to those who wait, stay strong GOGers and I hope you'll get patched version(s) without many delay.
Woohoo, just updated.
Eh.. "This video contain content from [Merlin] PIAS, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds."
That's the second trailer on GoG's store front page of this game. Not that single trailer being block will make me to pre-order my cancel;D, but I find it to be extremely amusing, because I do not remember a single game with such thing.
