During the Prologue, I'm unable to save the game. Selecting the slot does nothing except play a notification sound. This is after the tutorial pop-up for saving the game appeared. Returned to the title menu and have lost all of my progress.

What I've tried and still won't allow to save:
- Removed all DLCs and launched the base game
- Removed all DLCs and reinstalled only the base game
- Run as administrator
- Added Full Control on Permissions for the game folder

Has anyone come across this issue?

Seems very weird. I believe this has something to do with permissions..Did you also change the permissions of the save folder and not only the installation folder?

Hello Kalvahnr,

I believe a temporary solution while this is getting fixed is to do the following:

1. Go to "%userprofile%\Saved Games\" or "C:\Users\[Insert your userprofile]\Saved Games"
2. If not already present in the folder, create a folder called "Falcom"
3. Inside the Falcom folder you may have created, create another folder called "Kuro2"
4. This should result in a folder path like this: "%userprofile%\Saved Games\Falcom\Kuro2" or "C:\Users\[Insert your userprofile]\Saved Games\Falcom\Kuro2"
5. After this, try to open the game as normal. This should hopefully fix your issue.

Feel free to report back if this is not the case!
