It just sync's to the cloud like I shut it down. And when I try launching from the games gog files, I get this. Anyone else having this issue? I'd prefer a fix instead of a refund.

Yeah - It seems more people have trouble with that one.

It starts well on my computer, but after some looking around it seems you have to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable. You can download that one from the Microsoft website. Just install it, and you should be good to go.

I think most people had no problem with that, because it's a very common library that is installed automatically by a lot of games. It should have been included in the installation files of this game, but for some reason that has not been done.

Anyway - Just install that library, and you are good to go...

Thanks that worked. Not sure why it didn’t install with the game. And is it recommended to play the cross bell arc? Or am I fine skipping them for now if I at least know the story?

You should play the crossbell arc first. It's very important.

Yep - Both the Crossbell arc (2 games) and the Cold Steel arc (4 games) are needed to at least have any notion who all those people are, and what the hell is going on. You "could" get away with only playing the Cold Steel arc and watching a recap (on Youtube or so) of the Crossbell arc, but I would not really recommend that. This game is like the final chapter of a great book. It won't make much sense if you did not read the previous chapters.

Personally I have played all the games from the first Trails In The Sky (I have played the Crossbell arc in the Geofront version, but will replay them in the "official" version soon). I can only say I was really glad I did that, and can finally play this very last "farwell" for the whole series.

I can only hope the fresh new start in Calvard with the Kuro series will be translated soon...

This issue should be fixed with version 1.0.3, the client should now install the dependency if not already present. Sorry for the inconvenience.
