So I just had killed a random monster in out of Bose and all of a sudden I get the achievement for having found every armor in the game. Did this happen only to me?

No. The achievements in this series on GOG are buggy.. At least two seem to be unobtainable in the current version of the game (the one for talking to pigeons in SC and the one for reading every book in the Third)
