It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Just bought this on GoG a couple days ago, and started playing it yesterday. I'm enjoying it so far, with the exception of how terribly slowly the characters walk around the game environments. Here is a youtube video showing a slow version of Robert walking around: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOkPdukkP38, and here is what looks like a normal speed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-UIDaz4NPhg. Mine is half the speed of the slower version, if that.

My system way more than exceeds the minimum requirements required for the game. Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, how did you (or were you even able to) fix it?

It's a known issue for quite some time now, but unfortunately there's no solution yet, afaik.
Are you using the Windows or the Mac version?
Disable any anti-virus software and make sure no other program is using lots of RAM.

You can also try contacting the devs via facebook:

Thanks for the info! I'm using the Windows version, and I have 6 GB of CPU RAM, and 4 GB video RAM, very little of which is being used, so I don't think that's the issue. I don't use social media, so FBing the devs isn't an option, but I was able to find a support email for the dev's studio, so we'll see if they respond.

Thanks again for the reply!

Please let us know, if they come up with something. That would be interesting.

I had this problem when I played the game, I fixed it by making sure hardware acceleration was enabled in Flash Player. To do so, right-click on a video in your internet browser, select settings and tick the box to enable it. You might need to do this in-game too.

Note that this won't work on some websites like GOG or Youtube, so try playing a video from a product page on Steam and then right-clicking that.
