Does anyone here know how Crazy Machines compares to TIM? I'm slowly playing through TIM, but was wondering whether it's worth getting Crazy Machines when I'm done, or whether it's just a poor imitation.

Thoughts?

I'd say if you want a slightly different gameplay experience, then go for crazy machines. If you just want more TIM puzzles, then it's quite likely someone, somewhere has created a level pack for one of TIM games.
