This is one of my favourite arcade games and it's really exciting to see an updated version. However, if it's made with Unity why is there no GNU+Linux version? The engine supports it.

You're asking why the developers of a budget title aren't bending over backwards to cater to a relatively small userbase? You knew what you were getting yourself into when you chose Linux.
