I first bought this game back in March and played it for a while no problem. Then I moved on and now I thought I'd revisit it, updated to the latest version and tried to play only to get stuck on a blank grey screen on startup. The cursor changes to the game one, I can hear the voice over going "there are as many worlds..." and I can click to skip it but that's it, nothing else happens and I have to alt f4 or end task it.

I tried verifying the game, I updated my graphics drivers, I got the latest vc-redist, i tried running as admin, I made sure the galaxy overlay is disabled, i tried rolling back to older version (as far back as it would go, 2 months ago)... Nothing made a difference.

Help?
