Hi, I play The Guild 2 and its extension for several weeks on Steam and after a community patch, they are stable.
I bought a cd version of The Guild 1 (Europa 1400) several years ago, but I was unable to play because it crashed every time.
So, I would like to know if the GOG version is patched to the latest version and if the game is stable or not too buggy to play quietly ?

I already checked this forum but I saw no clear answer, so if a fan of the game can help me...

GOG has The Guild patched to the 2.06 version that, I reckon, it's the last one for the game.

I have been testing it around lately on a Win7 32-bit and it seems to work perfectly.

It's as stable as the last official patch. Apply the community patches as well, especially The Guild 2 - Rennaisance is well covered. See at the nordic games forum.

I play Europa 1400: The Guild 3 or 4 times every year. I own the gog version. It sometimes crashes after 10-12 hours of gameplay. So it is safe to say it is pretty stable. =)
I just bought the game, and one executable the mouse don't work, and in the other the interface is rendered so wrong that the game is unplayable, so I guess it is very buggy.
