Anyone know where the save files for this game are stored? I'm trying to transfer my save from home to work and back but when I looked in
C:\Program Files\GOG.com\The Guild Gold\resources\gamedata\Saves
but it was empty

I couldn't find them either - I was screwed when I had to reinstall my OS. Very annoying. I'll keep looking though.

I assume your using Vista or win7?
Try checking C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\

I did not check that location. I am using Windows 7 and that makes sense. Especially since if I run it as an administrator it doesn't show my normal saves.
