So, my guys are in this habit of marrying rich old ladies, inheriting their stuff, burying them after a year or two and living large the rest of their life. No. 3 of generation even managed to score the richest lady in the town (and 27 years his senior)! Gosh I was so happy for him.

...thirty years later, she is still alive, plus she's now head of the whole state, Grand Inquisitor and something else, and the dude lives on life prolonging potions. How comes? Does her position render her immortal? And if the dude croaks first, will their son still inherit mum's riches? I don't want to divorce the Grand Inquisitor. :(

When your current guy dies, you continue playing as your son, who *will* inherit his mum's riches when she dies.
