So I bought the game, and it was fairly different to the Guild 2 (no character)
I'm currently a thief and making a measly sum out of it
Despite the fact i've trained up my guys in stealth, they all fail to burgal houses
So how can I improve this? What's the secret entrance to the thieve's guild for?
Also, how can I changethe brightness, I can racically see nothing downstairs

You have to scout a potential house to where the information on the house is 96-100 % known THEN burgle the house. Be warned that there are chances where your men will be caught by a passing guard and you will be fined.

Oh right
I thought scouting just meant you get to know ho w protected it is, but I get it now
So does anyone know how to change the brightness?
