Okay, some of you know I got this in the promo (Spellforce is pretty damn good, just long as hell.), and I wasn't expecting much from it. In fact, I saw the games screens and thought 'wow, this looks gay' before I learned about it. And then I started out on free play(Or whatever it is called) and started with a merc dad and thief mom. After 6 years, i got a wife and a child. I now run a very successful Thieves Guild, just improved it at the max as of right now in the game, and am now addicted to one of the best games EVER!!! I LOVE THIS GAME!!! Can anyone offer me some good tips for thieves? I have burglarized an opposing dynasty's house successfully and ammassed 3.2k in pickpocketing. Any idea? I haven;t appointed a master yet nor a journey man.
Do NOT appoint a master for the thieving side of the business because he will not make the proper decisions that will make you money. Masters are great for goods producing businesses not ones that are better handled by the player such as Thief or Robber.

Yep, I make around 5-9k a year on burglaries now. It's funny how dynasties have no burglary protection and just leave thousands of gold ripe for the taking. IM AN ADDICT!!!

Only 5-9k?? Tsk, tsk. You are slacking, my young apprentice. Have you branched out into kidnapping various state officials yet?? Go for the rich ones with a low combat rating or train a thief or two to have a maxed out combat rating and watch the money roll in. Only draw back to kidnapping someone is the fact that the action itself costs AP points; however, if you are smart in your marketplace purchases throughout the year then you should be able to pick up some spare AP here and then. buy Walking Sticks and anything that increases your AP bonuses, including upgrades to your primary residence.
Well. since the posting i managed to pull in in 10-17k a year. I haven't done kidnappings yet and am quite interested in doing so. If you can point out to me what the average pull in is and who the hell the good targets are, I would be grateful. Aren't the religious officials the easier ones? That's what I heard. Also, how do I get robber units? Maxed thief out already. Oh, and JudasIscariot, I'm not slacking my kid took over (I think I committed suicide who knows I was half asleep.). He sucks in stealth and handicraft.
