Hello,

I've go a problem with this game. When I launch it, it shows the 3 or 4 intro movies then when the game's is supposed to launch I get a black screen. Then I can't do anything: no Alt+tab, no Ctrl+Alt+Del, Alt+F4 nor Ctrl+Shift+Esc. The only solution I have is to cut the power.

The first times (plural, I downloaded and installed the gae 2 times) I saw the game run is when I launch the game when the installer is done (the button "launch the game at the end)
Otherwise no way (compatibility mode, admin mode, TL or no TL exe, disabling intro movies)

Does anybody have this problem? or a solution?

Config:
- Win 7 32bits SP1
- AMD Athlon II X4 (quad core 2,8GHz)
- 3,25GB RAM
- ATI Radeon 5850

I am experiencing the same problem. The "Launch" button you get right after the installation works, but that is it. There is no other way how I can get the game to run.

in your Guild 2 Folder / Guild 2 Pirates Folder is a file called config.ini

in the file go to

// Show the splash screen at programm startup (0:no 1:on (default) )
SplashScreen = 1

change to

// Show the splash screen at programm startup (0:no 1:on (default) )
SplashScreen = 0

seems to be a problem with the videos (maybe all, if there are any more?)
