I was reading the manual, and i noticed i'm missing the filters on the 2d map as also described in this post.
I'm about to start my first game and i would like some confirmation from you guys on if this is really a problem (bug) or something else.
So, a couple of questions:
- Can someone actually confirm having these filters at the bottom of the the 2d map with the GOG version of 'The Guild: Gold'?
- In case the answer to the above question is 'Yes, i have them' are the filters on the 2d map supposed to always be there (right from the start of a new game) or do they only show up later on in the game (as they become relevant or something)?
Thanks guys.

DrIstvaan: Have fun! I myself consider returning to it I manage to pass tomorrow's exam (the last of the semester, yeah!).
And if you have further questions, don't hesitate to post them! If I can answer over the top of my head, I'll be sure to do so, and I'm certain other fans of the game (*cough* JudasIscariot, TheJoe *cough*) are glad to help as well.

Namur: Ok, thanks.
Good Luck on your exam ;)

Thanks, I will need it for sure.

DrIstvaan: I know what you meant.
However, even for them, it's not on the 2d map, as stated in the manual, but in a specific window.

Namur: Yeah, you're right.
How do you go about finding a house belonging to a specific individual ? Lots of scrolling around ?

There is a way, IIRC. You can look up the person in one screen ("Important Persons") and then click on them to see what properties they have and click on that property and the game SHOULD take you directly to their property if I am not mistaken/on drugs/out of my mind.

Hmmm. I've tried that recently, but clicking on them didn't do anything for me... But it might be a bug, as The Guild has its fair share of them.

I can't even see what properties they have from the 'Important Persons' menu.
I'm just starting so the important persons are Family, Friends and Opponents, the other groups are greyed out.
I can right_click-hold on thei portraits to see their stats, but i'm not finding a way to see their properties.
I'm getting to the 'Important Persons' Menu via the 'Office Overview' button. I'm guessing there isn't another 'Important Persons' window focusing on properties...or is there ?
Thanks.
