I'm thinking about buying this game and I'm curious how well it works in Linux with Wine/Proton. Has anyone given this a try?

It worked perfectly for me. I was using Lutris with Wine runner lutris-7.1 - you don't need to use Proton to enjoy this masterpiece of a game. Test results on ProtonDB also show incredible compatibility.

I'm running The Forgotten City on Linux with Lutris and WINE version "Lutris-GE-Proton7-24". Unfortunately, after about half an hour of play, the framerate becomes extremely choppy to the point of unplayable (almost like GPU memory has become badly fragmented).

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep the framerate from tanking?
