Djaron: Greetings

Title is self explanatory.
Store page mentions the game has several localisations available for text/subtitles aside from main english version. This includes my own language (french).

However i don't find any settings for the game's language in the game's settings menu.
I found an XML "settings" file in some subfolder of my user profile directory, under appdata\roaming\mipumi games\the flower collectors
I tried to edit it, all the options were set for English; even my "system" option, while my windows is installed in french.
I tried to edit this file and replace "english" occurences with "french" instead and saved the file, tried to run the game... to no avail ! the game force revert the changes to english.

I'm not using gog galaxy and don't intend to to so; therefore any answer or workaround suggesting the use of galaxy won't be anyhelpful to me so far.

so... how do i change the game's language settings so it would run with subtitles in my own language ? (supposedly available, according to store page here)

I played another mipumi's game, The Lion's Song, a couple of weeks ago, and i could change language without problem and localization for my own language was quite good already... So i was eager to try out The Flowers Collector but this issue causes me troubles, i'm afraid...
