I bought this game here at GOG and posted at Steam to converse with the developer about the save issues I was having. The developer , Muppetuppet, was very responsive and increased the save frequencies in the following update.

This was one of my only major criticisms of the game.

I also had some issues with the combat, however after getting accustomed to how the maneuvering, handling, and aiming are it became more intuitive the more I played. If I had based the game on the first half hour to 2 hours or so, I would have not had as good an impression.

Once you get passed the learning curve and start to be able to feel how the game handles it is much more fun. Hopefully, people give the game some time.

The world building and main story is excellently written and you start digging up bits of lore here and there at shrines.

The OST fits the atmosphere very well and has a very ambient maritime feel to it.

I do wish that the side missions had a bit more variety but over all they are pretty fun. The random escort missions are a good way to explore, fined new settlements, and earn some coin at the same time.

The Falcons are up-gradable. You can purchase different weapons and character buffs to make combat more interesting. The game has a fairly unique ammo system using lightning or lava to recharge your ammo and has a diegetic ammo meter that rests on the falcons back. Making the monitoring of the ammo levels more organic.

Over all the game is good and well worth the price point.
Thanks for your feedback ! I love the game setting and I'll probably buy it sooner or later :)
Your welcome. Initially, as you saw in my "Wonky Controls" thread, I found the controls to be difficult but have since gotten used to them and at the time of writing this thread I found them to be much more manageable. In part it was due to going back and forth between M and KB and controller until I decided what worked better for me and the game.

At first glance the controls don't feel as intuitive as other games but once you give it some time the game turns out to be really good.
