Hi, I ran into a techincal problem playing this otherwise awesome game.

When / where?
During the chapter "Don't call it Solo Study", when Rin discovers the word "hodiau", an error message shows up. I attached a screenshot of it.

Ignoring it led to more errors appearing, making it impossible to continue playing.

These attempts to fix the issue had no effect:
- loading an earlier save file
- restarting the game
- verifying the game installation files
- reinstalling the game
- making a new save file
- installing the game on a different computer

I concluded that this problem is out of my control and I need help. Anything would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just an idea who I should contact about this. Thanks!

Rakios

clarry: You should contact support (although I already did), so that they can relay the information to whoever is in charge of fixing the game and sending a fixed version to GOG. Hopefully we'll get a patch ASAP...

I got the same errors but I just pressed Ignore every time; each time it allowed me to progress in the story a little (until throwing that error again, to be promptly ignored again).

I just finished the story. IIRC that library scene was the only one where it did this. Super irritating but it didn't really stop me from reading on.

Cute crow, by the way.
Thanks a lot for your reply! I already feel better after being really troubled about this issue.

So it turns out that the errors have an end? ^^
After clicking "ignore" about five times, I assumed they weren't going to stop and quit in order to not spoil the experience. If we just have to endure it for one scene, then the fix isn't as critical. It's a good thing you already contacted support about it, though.

I shall go ahead and "ignore" some more of those error messages. Ci tio estas bone! ;)

@ Cute crow: You know it! Crows are the best :D

Good job so far. I want to add that when I tried making a new save file, I started a new game and fast-forwarded all the way to the library scene and still got the errors (without saving or loading in between).

So far I can at least confirm that there seem to be no errors outside of that one scene.
Got the same problem just now, hm…

clarry: It appears that I won't be getting a fix via support.. I wish better luck to the next person in line.

I wonder if I should just contact mangagamer directly.
We'll likely have more luck there, I think.

clarry: Problem is they have their own store so I'm concerned about the reaction when you reveal you got the game from GOG :(

Then again, they are the publisher.
Since MangaGamer is listed on GOG as a publisher (I think?) that means they had to make a deal with GOG (at least I think that). Therefore, it should really be a problem, and bug doesn't seem like GOG-related anyway really.
Been reading this too and stumbled on same exception-error, just went ignoring-way.
Now that I look around it seems that galaxy serves updated version (v1.3) looking by gogdb-entry (under Builds-tab) while offline package is at v1.0. I hope GOG pushes offline update soon if this is the case.

I used offline installer too (v1.0). Was looking other topic here by dalethfc, I saw "The Expression Amrilato 1.3" and install paths in that errorlog shows GOG Galaxy so that probably means galaxy serves updated version.
