does anyone know if in this game, you can find yourself in a spot thats impossible to pass becuase of something you didn't do way back in the beggning?

i tested the game myself, and i don't think it will let you dead end, i think you can play it and do whatever you like without screwing things up permanently.

It's not designed for dead ends. There are achievements that are influenced by what you do. I also ran into a few bugs that ended up in a dead end situation (once, I tried to pick up an item that I had placed and it didn't go into my inventory; and in another spot doing things in the wrong order forced me to reload my save).
Save often (and create new saves) just to be safe. But you shouldn't have to worry too much.
