Changelog for Update 1.0.6 (added 04 September 2019):

- New version of the PA voice over system - there were shortcomings in the old design that made certain lines play much more frequently than was ideal, and other lines would almost never be heard. The new system will actually remember what lines were played in all the games you have played (not just the current one), so you won't hear lines again for a much, much longer time.
- As part of the above, you will also hear "The Working Song" a lot less (one of our more persistent requests...)
- Some other logic changes that make sure each game you start has guaranteed differences from your previous game. Previously, some unlucky players would get served up a very similar game twice in a row.
- Vsync options on the Graphics settings screen. We have more graphics settings updates planned, let us know if there is another that is high priority for you.
- Tuned deadzone and made some other adjustments when playing with controller - this is a work in progress with some other planned controller improvements coming.
- Made the "The Unknown Unknown" achievement easier to get - a bug before meant that if you talked to a friendly character, that would count against you getting this achievement. We also fixed a few other minor achievement bugs.
- Improvements to our Japanese translation.

Windows standalone installer updated (1.0.0 ⇒ 1.0.6): 05 September 2019.
Mac OS not updated yet.

Changelog for Update 1.1.0 (added 30 September 2019):

- Moved around a few buttons on the controller: now Throw a Rock is on Right Bumper, the gear inventory is on Left Bumper, and the notes inventory is DPad left. This means you
'll never again accidentally throw a rock when you meant to subdue someone! Take a look at the controls screen in game to see the new layout.
- Now when you press and hold Right Bumper to throw a rock, you go to into a "rock aim" mode, which will allow you to aim it wherever you want without raising your gun. Then release the button to throw. This works on keyboard too, with whatever you might have mapped Throw a Rock to.
- Further adjustments to how the aiming works with rocks or with guns - we find it feels a lot better. This combined with the rock-aim mode mentioned above has made our rock throwing a lot more accurate.
- Did a big pass on guard variation throughout Freedom Town, with some variations to their behavior that change up more after you achieve endings. We also made the guards smarter about getting distracted by rocks, so be careful with your throws.

Standalone installer updated ( 1.0.6 ⇒ 1.1.0): 10 October 2019.

Changelog for Update 1.1.3 (added 29 October 2019):

- Implemented GOG Galaxy Achievements - happy hunting.
- Changed the way the saves work on the easiest difficulty (Interloper). Now when you load a game on Interloper, you can play die or quit and load that same game again. You can also choose to save and continue playing - but again, that's only on the easiest difficulty. This is still an experimental feature - we don't know of any bugs but want to hear from you if you find some.
- Fixed a few existing bugs with save games that is also a bit of a performance boost in some situations.
- A little adjustment to the controls, working toward a more extensive refinement in our next build.

Standalone installers updated (1.1.0 ⇒ 1.1.3.): 30 October 2019.

Changelog for Update 1.2 (Added 30 December, 2019):

* Camera/Controls Changes - New camera control feels a lot less "floaty". Now when the player stops, the camera stops, which we think feels a lot more tight.
* Update to the Swing Camera - We also updated the "camera swing" feature - which you use to look farther around your character and access with the arrow keys (by default) or the right stick. This now feels a lot more "under control" as well and doesn't automatically swing back over your character until you start moving.
* Control Options - The above camera features are on by default. However, if you want the camera back the way it was before, we have that covered too. Go to the Settings menu and you can tick the "Re-Center Camera After Moving" and "Swing Camera Re-Centers" options and it will feel the same as it did previously. You can mix and match which of the features feels best to you.
* Alternative UI Colors - Also on the Settings menu, this new option lets you change the color on UI elements, specifically the sight cones. This was something we had numerous requests for, as the original colors are particularly hard to read for people with colorblindness. Here the default is still the same, but we've added three different alternate color schemes that hopefully provide an option that works for you. But if not please let us know and we can keep refining them in a future update.
* A few save game fixes.

Changelog for Update 1.3 (Uploaded August 23rd, 2020):

* Reworked Alex's follow behavior. In particular this fixes cases where he could box the player into a corner and there would be no way to get out without knocking him out or killing him. Now you have no excuse to not get him out of Freedom Town! If you want to...
* Per request, on the Graphics Settings menu added custom settings for Shadow Quality, Anti Aliasing Level, and Lighting. To access these go the Settings menu, then look for the Graphics Settings sub-menu.
* Played with some guard behavior modifications to vary up gameplay a bit more. In particular, tuned the "Red Hat" Guard's behavior to be more aggressive - be careful when you try to get past them. And remember to always look at a guard's hat to get an idea how much trouble they're going to give you.
* For controller players, fixed bugs where cancelling out of menus would sometimes lead to a state where no item was selected and you'd have to switch to mouse to progress.
* Fixed bug with Charles' sight cones being the wrong colors if you were using the alternate/color blindness UI settings.
* Inventory system fix for some cases where, when using mouse, the inventory would not behave as intended and you might accidentally use something you didn't mean to.

Changelog for Update 1.41 (Uploaded November 28th, 2020):

* Added a Notes/Documents tracker, selectable via the Notes entry on the main menu. This tracks all the notes & documents you have found in any of your playthroughs of the game and lets you read and re-read them whenever you want.
* Scroll the screen left/right with controller or mouse to see the different pages of notes. Select a note to re-read it in the menu.
* Some notes have multiple variants that change with different narrative scenarios. Small numbers on the lower right of each icon will show notes that have variants and how many you have collected so far. Scroll left/right when viewing one of these notes to see the variants you have collected so far.
* Notes and documents are recorded as you play - search in desks, trunks, and other searchable spots and they will atuomatically appear in the Notes menu that you can view when between games. (Your collectoins have only been recorded since game v1.3, so long time players may not see everything they've found.)
* Added subtitle support to Notes tracker.
