i am wait for the gothic 1 remake so i am happy to play this mod now!! italk to the first npc,s but there are no sound! only if i set the language to polisch but i do,nt understand that language! waiting for a a patch now? this game start perfect but the gothic gols 2 edition not. by starting up the screen turns black and i must do a hard computer reset

The G1 remake was scrapped because the response to the shit demo was overwhelmingly negative.

No it wasn't. The demo was just to see what the playerbase wanted and it wasn't it so thq nordic just went back to the drawing board. The gothic remake is still very much in active development.

that demo i liked it very much the original gothic 1 is to far out of date! (graphics controlling and a amateuristic play ground) i think the story is also very good but i came not further then 5 hours playing. gothic 3 is for me the best game ever..i play it more then 3 times with different endings. better then skyrim the witcher etc. it was my first gothic game i played in 2008 .gothic 2 (i played direct after 3) looks also very oldish but was good playable ! i hope also that there a gothic 3 remake or new mod came in the future. i like elex also much but its sometimes to tricky. (this was the game i died the most times of all the games i ever played ) here in this mod i was also more then 100 x dead till now ha ha some golems beats you so hard that you fly over nearly the half island when you landed (extremly dead!)
i am now 60 hours further in this mod i am in chapter 2 i have level 19 with 99190 experience. sometimes its very hard to find the quest givers back or other persons the best you can do is print the town map out on a piece of paper so you can make notes on it.
