I played the game for more than 90 hours earlier and, for some unknown reason, it doesn't want to work anymore.
That issue happened smth like 2-3 month ago and I though that maybe new patch will fix it, but no.

The issue:
When I click Play in GOG Galaxy or run Gothic2.exe file nothing happens. In Task Manager I see that process is running for 10 sec and than dissapears, without any traces. I don't even see Archolos splash window.

The latest working version for me was 1.2.3 I believe.

I already tried to Uninstall/Install the game, result the same.

Maybe someone got the same issue and can help.

Today I received another small update for Archolos.
And for some miracle it works again.

But with all these install/unistall I have accidentally deleted my saves.
So, here we go again.

At least I could try play now with other build.
