Hey there,

I'm using an Windows 8 PC and I need to switch to another PC that uses Windows 7. Since I'm very far in the game I don't really want to start over. Can anybody please tell me where I can find the Save-Games that I would like to copy on a memory-stick and put them on the other machine.

Thanks for your help.

As The Cat Lady uses the Adventure Game Studio engine, your save game files on a Windows 7 system are located in your personal folder, in a sub-folder named Saved Games.

\Users\<username>\Saved Games\<name of game>\

I'd guess they are in the same place on a Windows 8 system.

Unfortunately thats not the case…..
Hmm, then it probably uses the AppData folder.
\Users\<Username>\AppData\
There you'll find three sub-folders and any of them could contain a folder for the game's saves (next to a bunch of other data from other programs). Just search for a folder named like the game, starting in the "Roaming" folder.

If you cannot see the AppData folder, it could be because it's hidden from view. Launch Windows Explorer, then click on the View menu on the ribbon, now tick 'Hidden items'. Close the Explorer and reopen it, a mere refresh doesn't seem to work.
