A bit of an odd question perhaps, but does anyone know what accent Wilbur has in the Book of Unwritten Tales (the English version)? I love listening to him speak, but I'm not familiar enough with English dialects to be able to place it.

Ivo's voice is nice too - I love the way she says "book", hehe. I'm quite impressed with the voice acting quality overall. But Wilbur's my favorite. :)

Wilbur has a fake (actor created) regional Welsh accent, not English. He was voiced by Nicholas Aaron.

Edit: Ivo was voiced by the fine impressionist/actress Jess Robinson.

Thank you for the information, and the links!

Apparently I love Welsh accents, even fantasy Welsh-inspired accents. Maybe I should look for audiobooks read by Welshmen.

I can't help you with any specific audiobooks, but I seem to remember that John Rhys-Davies (Gimli from The Lord of the Rings) did some reading for audiobooks. Don't quote me on that; it's just something that seems to stick in my head, for some reason -- he's Welsh, by the way.

As an aside, I thought this guide to speaking with a Welsh accent might be fun, if nothing else. :)
