There are already native linux versions out there (in STEAM for example) but not one here yet. The game seem to play ok in Wine but still for the average user wine might be too much to bother? Any info on whether this will happened?

Yeah, I'd like to know that, too. As I was very impatient and blindly bought the GOG version and then realized that I can't download the Linux version *fp*

The Linux version seems to be working on Steam, so the technical difficulties seem to be on GOG's side. Shouldn't be too long to work them out I hope.

Linux version is on GOG now, but the file is only 700 MB in size. :/

Nope, I have the standard edition. And besides the ingame updater not working, the game itself runs fine so far.

The first game and the Critter Chronicles arent available in GOG. I've voted for them here: http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/the_book_of_unwritten_tales_linux

The game works fine with PlayOnLinux if you use the wine version 1.7.37 and XP-Mode.

so, if i'll buy game... in this case BOOK OF UNWRITTEN TALES, will sales go to linux version of game or gog doesn't have such cash flow to os like steam?
