McLovin2732: What do you mean by that? The achievements work fine for me. But yeah my hopes aren't all that high either :(

GrzechuGrek: I don't see icon nor text in Galaxy - just empty places.
On the game page? Yeah me too :(. Maybe it's because they are all hidden achievements. Seems more like a GOG issue

McLovin2732: Achievements have been recently added, so maybe the latest versions are currently being worked on to be ported over
I can't see anything, there is no achievements yet (and maybe forever)

Only achievements you have unlocked are displayed on your profile
So, still no news, I suppose?
I'm currently playing the game and realized there are no Daily Runs (and the achievements in GOG Galaxy are quite broken). Any idea whether it's being worked on at all?

I've totally given up after wasting so much time on emails doing GOG's work, but yeah, looks like this outdated, with missing features version is all we're getting

Hello everyone,

I would like to buy THE BINDING OF ISAAC. I usually prefer to make purchases on GOG, but I know that the game's support here has been debated, particularly with the achievements which, until recently, were not implemented, and the version of the game was outdated.

Currently, the game is on sale on Steam. Has everything been fixed with the GOG version as of today, November 6th? Are the achievements no longer buggy, etc.?

Thank you :)

I won't buy on GOG at the current state of the release on GOG: outdated, no daily runs (so no daily run unlocks) and the devs not communicating at all, it seems.
There's a free DLC announced for the game (over on Steam) that is to be released on November 18 (in about two weeks time). The tentative(?) title for the DLC is "Repentance+ Beta" and it will include online support as well as updates for the single player (I think mostly rebalancing stuff that players apparently were asking for, but probably bug fixes too).

Perhaps if / when the update eventually comes to GOG the game will be finally on the same level (minus the dailies but perhaps with a way to still acquire the items that normally are achieved via the daily challenges).

As the "Beta" in the DLC title implies. there probably be a follow up of more updates to bring it to a final state. Probably.

Neither GOG nor Nicalis have actually written anything about updates and free DLCs coming here though, and as far as I know noone has officially responded here on questions (about the potentially missing achievements/items and the lack of updates).

Oh this is news to me though given Nicalis track record of dumping games here with as far as I can tell little to no updates(I admit I own six of the games Nicalis put on here) I bet the dlc if it comes to Gog will only be after varies bug fixs and such the steam game gets from the dlc added to not have to support multiple platforms with updates at the same time
I would love to beg to have the DLC Repentance+ in GOG version, but I know that Nicalis has completely abandoned support for the game here. And I find myself particularly bitter about this.

I'm so happy (I guess) that I found this thread (amongst others) to tell me about this.

It hasn't steered me away from GOG... it's steered me away from wanting to give Nicalis any of my money.

I don't give a hoot, who you are, if you sell a product several places, you better make damn sure it functions the same in both (or all) of them.

This is a huge alarmbell for me, concerning the commitment of a company to their customers.
If they don't treat them equally, I don't support them.
It's that simple.
