My library says that Bard's Tale has updated, I'm just curious as to 'what' updated.

Because personally I find the original game unplayable (Beyond too fast) unless I restart my computer beforehand. It was too much of a hassle so I deleted it. So I'm hoping a patch or whatever was installed.

It would seem that GOG's update notification system is a bit glitchy right now. A bunch of games got update flags in the last 24 hours for seemingly no reason. The theory among forum users is that any game that had an update in the last month or two is getting a false update flag right now. Since The Bard's Tale added a Linux version last month, this would be why it is being flagged right now.

Thanks, though I did install it, and it works fine.

Except there is one issue, which I am just about to start another post about.

Version has obviously changed, at least for the french installer :
- old : 2.0.0.7
- new : 2.0.0.9

Now telling what have been updated it's another story :)

I really don't know it says it updated but maybe it is just an installer update. I couldn't see what would change other than compatibility issues for the installer or the .exe itself.

GOG staffers will usually post in the subforum, or in the "What did just update?" thread at the very least, if something has been changed. Can anyone else confirm what To_an is claiming?

Nothing changed. Believe the other most recent update was the Linux version.
