The game is playable but any time I go into a temple or some screen like that my CPU starts to sound like a plane on takeoff. Seems like this remake needs some optimizations.

That is your cpu fan jumping up to 100%, for some reason--the cpu doesn't make any noise by itself--at least you had better hope it doesn't...;) I have no such problem with my R5 1600 Ryzen @ 3.8GHz. This is not a heavy game computationally speaking--it's really rather lightweight. So whatever's happening is on your *hardware/configuration* end, most definitely...
