(Bards Tale IV)
I had been enjoying the game but I am now stuck
During the quests Elven Wiles the green lady tells me to use a song
some people are blocking my path but they do not react to me or attack (as I believe they should, having checked this bit on YT).
Is there any way I can fix this and continue my game?
If not, I'm gonna uninstall this game as it will have proven itself to be crap

You have to use the song "Jarnel's Eyes" which she tells you to use to advance. It's hard coded to make you use the song before they trigger a fight.

It's a really great game that's worth a playthrough. You should reconsider playing it.

If you mean you've used the song and it still hasn't advanced, then yeah I wouldn't play it either. But usually it's something in the game that's easy to miss, and not a bug.
