Did I miss a tutorial on how this works? Not seeing anything
You didn't. That's what the "Digital Code Wheel" is for, except you have to print it to be able to use it.... Sadly
I printed and assembled the code wheel but I still don't get it. All the code wheel gives you is two 2-digit numbers like, for example. 45 and 23. What you're supposed to do with these two numbers the code wheel outputs I have no clue.

I saw somebody else streaming gameplay yesterday, and rather early on (before he got to the adventurers guild house) he found a page with a numbered list of items. I completely bet that is the key you are looking for.

Also there's a farmer who keeps repeating the same 3 vegetables. I don't remember but I think it was something like cabbage carrot potato. At first I thought it might be a recipe, but once that list was found I'm guessing it's a combination for something.

There's a book you find. (I forget where) That has an list of items numbered 1-100.

I really wish someone would make a digital version of the code thingie. I'm basically screwed not having a printer.
SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER***************

The list with the numbers for the code wheel is (iirc) upstairs in the adventurer's guild.
