The inventory needs some comfy-improvements.

We should be able to sort the inventory by item types (food, weapons, armor, instruments etc.)

Added Items should consistently go to their relevant stock... i.e. if you have 123 potatoes on page 3 of your inventory and pick up another one, this one should be added to your potatoe stock instead of starting a new stock on page 1!

organizing the party inventory into "pages" seems to be a bad idea from the start! Why not scrollable? Is this some kind of compromise to make it portable to game consoles?

Game designers and developers seem utterly incapable of creating workable *and* functional inventories in this day and age, and that goes for all games. There isn't a new game (that I'm aware of) available that has a proper, robust inventory system that works as an inventory system should.
InXile has released a patch roadmap for their first three patches, and inventory improvement is on the list. We don't know for sure what that'll entail, but at the very least they've said sorting will be a priority fix.
They had the same issue with Wasteland 2. They patched it and it was great. Wish they would have remembered that when they built this.
Thanks for the feedback! An auto-sort feature is planned for an upcoming patch. It's one of the more requested features and definitely something we want to get in.
