Trying to play on a windows 8 64 bit machine and it seems to be playing way to fast to the point its almost unplayable. What settings do I need to change?

EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out, changed some settings and its running fine now!

EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out, changed some settings and its running fine now!
I'm having the same problem on my WinXP machine from 2004. Everything seemed fine in the Adventurers Guild, but as soon as I stepped outside, time passed like lightning, and when trying to cast spells, the quickest tap on the keyboard filled the line with copies of the first letter.

What settings need to be adjusted for this?
