I am playing Bard's Tale 1 via GOG.com's Bard's Tale. I want to transfer my save games from GOG to the MESSUI emulator. I have followed all the steps described here www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/The_Bard%27s_Tale

I CANNOT find the bt1d1.2mg and bt1d2.2mg anywhere on my computer. the C:\GOG.com\The Bard's Tale folder does NOT have those files.

HELP

If you took the time to actually read the wiki page you linked, you would see that those files are not stored in the Bard's Tale installation folder. Press your Start button and copy/paste this into the run box:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\inXile entertainment\The Bard's Tale\

There you will find them.

Tried that smart ass. Didn't work. Cannot be found.

Did you run the game once through the 2005 game? This has to be done to make the files exist; they don't exist otherwise.
