My Windows 7 PC is a bit old. Can I play Bard's Tale IV reasonably smoothly with it? It doesn't have to be in full graphics glory.

CPU: 4x Intel Core i5-4460 CPU @ 3.2GHz
Memory: 16 GiB RAM
GPU: GeForce GTX 750

That is below the minimum required. I also have the same graphics card and memory although I'm on windows 10 pro and I5-4690 and skipped buying the game when it was 80% off because I was afraid it would not work. With graphics cards so scarce it would take a couple hundred dollars to upgrade the card and I could not justify that much to be able to play a game.

Interesting. I admit I have no idea about graphics cards and their naming, so of course I believe you. Nevertheless, I would like to ask again.

I'm currently playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided from 2016, minimum requirement GeForce GTX 660 (2GB) and it runs satisfactorily for me. Is the GeForce GTX 760 (The Bard's Tale IV) that much better?

Buying a new graphics card now is also out of the question for me.
