Ok I have looked both on forums, and the store page, but I see no confirmation anywhere but the graphic showing what comes in the deluxe edition. Given at this time the DE is like 13 dollars on sale, I feel like purchasing at that price (My pc copy of Deadly Premonition paid for at full price on steam says hi to show I can put up with bugs and crashes), however there's one detail that caught my eye, and hopefully I can get a definitive answer...

According to the picture on the "Bard's Tale IV: Director's Cut Deluxe Edition" it shows that it includes a digital copy of the "Bard's Tale Trilogy," I guess I have a few questions about this as I'm looking at getting the remastered trilogy as well.

1: Does BT4 Deluxe come with the trilogy still, or is that image no longer valid

and

2: If so, is it the remastered Trilogy, or just like the Apple 2 emulated versions?

3: If it does come with the trilogy, is it a separate install or does it need to be loaded from BT4's menu or something?

If it doesn't come with the trilogy, that's fine, that on it's own is dirt cheap in the current sale so I'd grab it separate, I just want to make sure I don't buy the same item twice because it's included with something else.

I bought a copy of the deluxe edition as part of the current sale.

It came with a copy of The Bard's Tale Trilogy. This is the same version which for sale separately in the storefront. It's a separate install without requiring the complete bard's tale 4 to be installed; the trilogy installer is 581 MB.

No, that's not correct.

It comes with the remastered Trilogy.
If you want the original Trilogy, then you need Bard's Tale from 2001. There is the emulatet version included.

I was asking if the deluxe edition of 4 came with the remasters or not, and was told the versions that game with 4 deluxe are the same versions included in "The Bard's Tale Trilogy" that is for sale on the storefront, which are the remasters, it was exactly the info I had been looking for.
