(For purposes of this topic, assume that the Stoneblade works in the version being played (that is, we're talking 8-bit rather than 16-bit), and that the Geomancer's level is high enough to hit with it.)
Which weapon would you prefer for a Geromancer? The two obvious choices are (assuming the Staff of Gods hasn't been obtained, as I have not been able to get it legitamitely):
1. Stoneblade. This will actually make the Geomancer's normal attack useful, as it will petrify (which counts as an instant kill). Then again, I could just have her use the Petrify spell instead.
2. Staff of Manar. -4 AC, spells cost half SP. Great for more spell use, and it even improves AC. Incidentally, if Geomancers got extra attacks like Warriors (they don't, unfortunately), it would actually deal decent damage (though not nearly as good as an instant kill).
