Don`t know if the info already is here, but the backer site is up here: https://bardstale.inxile-entertainment.com

A bit ... errr ... strange to find what you want, but after alot if clicks got my WL 2 code ;)
If you are a backer ($20 or above), you can now download the emulated versions of the original games. These are apparently the DOS versions of the games (unlike the versions included with the game from the last decade), so they have some quirks, but you do benefit from having zero load times. I recommend not bothering with this version of Bard's Tale 3, however.

Here are some notes regarding the bugs I know about:

Bard's Tale 1:
The Luck boosting Bard Song doesn't work. (I believe that the spell Anti-Magic spell also doesn't work.)
Dungeon traps only damage you; even a Basilisk Snare is not that dangerous in this version.
Rogue skills do not work; therefore, don't bother using a rogue unless you are going to transfer to Bard's Tale 3.

Bard's Tale 2:
Bard Song 7 plays the wrong tune. This can be fixed by pressing "V" twice after playing the song.
Bard Song 7's effect has been assigned to a different song. Therefore, the light doesn't go out when the song ends, but a different song (I think it may have been 2, but I don't remember) will make the light go out when it ends.
When reloading a save, the Bard will not be singing.
Hunter critical rate and Rogue thief skill will overflow. This happens to the internally stored values, and will be noticed for Hunters when you level up and go from constant crits to almost no crits after a level up. The only solutions are to stop leveling up before this happens, or level up to increase the crit rate again, being aware that overflow will eventually happen again.
Rogue skills are *still* useless. Train your Rogues in Bard's Tale 1 (to avoid the overflow) only, and only if you plan to transfer to 3.

Bard's Tale 3:
The DOS version is so buggy that I recommend skipping it and either playing one of the 8 bit versions (the game from last decade includes the Apple 2 version, which is one of the good versions) or waiting for the remaster. (Alternatively, look online for a patch that fixes many of these bugs.)
Monsters never use their breath attacks.
Monster attacks never cause status ailments.
Weapons that are supposed to petrify or critical don't. (Hunters can still crit, however.)
Divine Intervention does not heal you, nor does it turn illusions real.
Harmonic gems are more scarce than they should be.
Monster party members can't carry items; anything you trade them will just disappear.
Anti-magic zones dispel light but not levitation.
In any given area, any enemy that appears in an area with the same drops can appear. For example, in Arboria, sharks (which are supposed to be able to critical hit you) are only supposed to appear in the underwater dungeon, but they can appear on land. This becomes even more obvious when you reach Tarmitia (maybe even Tenebrosia) and you encounter enemies from the wrong era.
